Is It Better To Go To A Creative Arts College Or Traditional School?

Before you even think about going to college make sure you maintain good grades . If you're a male between the ages of 18-26 be sure to REGISTER WITH SELECTIVE SERVICES . This is vital in obtaining federal aid from stafford loans to pell grants . I was uninformed when I was in high school so I dont want the youth to make the same mistakes . In retrospect, after reviewing both- it depends soley on what you plan on doing with your  degree upon completion of school also how much you're willing to spend . Some of these Art schools are 100,000  dollars . They do offer indepth learning curriculum with hands-on training that will prepare you for work upon completion of the course material. However, community colleges can offer several general education classes and creative classes as well for a fraction of the cost .If you plan on becoming a producer, film maker , graphic designer , web design or interactive media . The Art Institute is a sound choice with campuses all over the country if you plan on relocating. The curriculum is accelerated so allocate enough time for your studies because  this is a three year intense bachelor program. Some community colleges offer media arts and sound recording classes as well . They tend to offer  more flexiblity and lower cost per credit making them more affordable. Community colleges are bigger institutions so  sometimes its harder to get the attention you deserve. Education and skill training is important in achieving success don't limit yourself or say you're too old because your brain is a sponge that never stops absorbing . Please feel free to share your views those of you that went to school and those that didnt ?
